A bit weak — I got it as an alternative for a medium-sized dog who's afraid of nail clippers. It takes so long to grind that the dog doesn't like it either. It's not about power so much as the grinding surface — the grit is too fine and clogs quickly with nail dust. Probably fine for small dogs and cats.
For medium/large dogs (20+kg) it's really only suitable for smoothing already-trimmed nails. For small dogs (~5-10kg) it works very well.

Grinder arrived, charged it up, tried it right away on our two dogs. One stayed calm and handled it well, didn't pull the paw back. The other hid immediately — she's just a nervous dog. We got tired of chasing her, so we'll try again later. It's quiet, but gets noticeably louder when actually grinding a nail. A nervous dog will need gradual training to get used to it.

The goods came quickly. Tried it, works. But big claws need to be cut first with scissors — this machine is more suitable for final smoothing. Rounds off sharp edges well.
